  • Stocks rally as Disney helps lift Dow

    U.S. stocks rallied across the board as investors celebrated a basket of earnings including results from Disney. The media giant also announced plans to shed 7,000 workers. Most of the 11 largest S&P sectors gained, led by consumer discretionary and tech companies. In commodities, oil was little changed at the $78 per barrel level.
