  • Stocks slide ahead of Fed decision

    U.S. stocks slipped in early trading ahead of the Federal Reserve's expected 0.25 basis point rate hike. Chipmaker AMD is bucking the downtrend with gains after reported revenue came in stronger than expected. In commodities, oil ticked up to the $78 per barrel level, as gold also moved higher to $1,947 an ounce.
